The Value of Free Couponing Courses – More Than Just Free
If you’ve ever wanted to learn the secret (?) tips of extreme couponers, you may have considered looking into books or classes on the subject. After all, it certainly works on TV. If only you knew exactly how they do it, you could do it, too!
Imagine going to your local supermarket and coming home with about $10,000 worth of groceries for a nickel. 🙂
Okay, that’s an exaggeration but you get the point.
While I was researching some classes, I ran across one on Udemy. It’s $29. So, I’m not including it in this post but mention it, in case you want to check it out.
What I was going for here, was not only free but also valuable. I wanted to find you couponing classes that actually teach you the fine art of using coupons for maximum savings. Hopefully, with as little work and frustration as possible.
So, with further adieu:
Free Couponing Courses
Southern Savers has a free online coupon class that covers everything from saving money to policies of couponing, as well as finding and organizing coupons that will save you money on your weekly grocery bill. The course also covers specific grocery and drug stores and offers couponing tips and tricks.
Additionally, this site offers you the chance to host your own local workshop.
From the Southern Savers coupon class:
Couponing to Be Debt Free is, as you would expect by the name, a site devoted to saving money on groceries so you can use the savings to pay down your debt. To that end, they provide a free couponing class that you can easily take advantage of.
Here, you will learn about couponing lingo, storage, budgets, stacking, reward cards, price matching and more. This site also deals with specific store policies and if you take a look at the sidebar of the class page, you’ll see an opportunity to download a free coupon binder.
The last course I’m going tell you about is located on the Grocery Shop for Free at the Mart website. These classes are held in Google Hangouts. At the time of this writing, there is no current course taking place but all of the archived videos are available for viewing.
This one has a ‘sitting at the kitchen table talking’ feel to it. Laid back and practical at the same time.
The answer for die-hard couponers bent on being power-savers, may be to take all of these free couponing courses. Why not? They don’t cost you anything, so you have nothing to lose and possibly a lot to gain. Enjoy the classes and your savings!
